Wireless Access

MassBay maintains three distinct wireless networks across its campuses.  They are:

MassBay-Guest is an open access network.  Patrons have the same access to MassBay resources as someone off campus.  But outbound services like email and such are restricted to prevent them from being abused.

MassBay-Student is the secure wireless student network.  It allows current students access to the same internal network resources that they would have in the computer labs.  To access it you must have a MassBay username and password to setup your connection.

MassBay-FacStaff is the secure and restricted MassBay employee network.  It allows all faculty and staff the same access to MassBay resources they have from their office machines such a file, printer, and Bay Navigator access.

EDUROAM is a secure wireless network service that allows faculty, staff, and students to use their home institution's wireless credentials to access wireless networks when visiting other eduroam participating institutions. eduroam eliminates the need for a guest account.
